What is a Volumetric survey?
Volumetric surveys capture stock piles or earthworks to accurately calculate its volume. This can be used to measure either what volume is in situ or how much has been removed. Volumetric surveys are similar to our topographical surveys and laser surveys however the purpose and outputs are very different.
